Come November 1, I'll be on a self-imposed hiatus from social media. Checking it constantly prevents me from being productive and I just don't like who I become when I post tweets and status updates--a self-deprecating, yet pretentious, little girl. A walking contradiction of immature proportions. It's not too far from the real me, but something about my persona is exacerbated on these websites and I don't like it. You can still find me here, though, so I won't be totally out of touch. Oh, and the social-media moratorium isn't permanent. I don't have that much courage.
